As part of the industry-supported curriculum, a three-credit, graded internship is required to graduate. The equine internship program at UK is as broad and diverse as the horse industry itself. Interns are place in and around Lexington, as well as across the country. They work on farms, in offices, and everything horse related in between. Students have interned at vet clinics, with horse trainers, and in equine marketing positions. They have worked with numerous breeds and disciplines and our internship program is only just beginning.
