'Metagenomic sequencing for virus discovery and characterization' - Dr Ben Hause
Dr. Ben Hause is virologist with a primary interest in emerging viruses associated with disease - often dubbed "virus hunting". He is the Virolgy Group leader at South Dakota State University and his research group focuses on the detection and characterization of viruses and studies their role in animal health. Dr. Hause spent a large part of his career in the veterinary vaccine industry and continues research and development of novel and efficacious vaccines.
