The workshop will take place at the Fayette County Extension Office from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and lunch will be provided. This event is designed for the horse breeder to educate them on the effects of toxic tall fescue and on management strategies to reduce or eliminate the risk of toxicosis symptoms in mares. Guest speakers include Dr. Carolyn Young (North Carolina State) and Dr. Tim Evans (University of Missouri) as well as a Farm Manager panel featuring Brian Conlon (Three Chimneys Farm) and Jenn Laidlaw (Blue Diamond Stud).
