About our Research Publications

There are several ways to keep up with research happenings in UK Ag Equine Programs, from traditional news releases and our award-winning newsletters to fact sheets and program resources for horse owners.

The Equine Science Review is the program's newest publication, covering the equine research and outreaching at UK.

And, from 2009 through 2019, the program published the Bluegrass Equine Digest, which was distributed in conjunction with The Horse.com and featured equine research news from and about UK.

The Equine Disease Quarterly is published in January, April, July and October each year by the Department of Veterinary Science. It is funded by Underwriters at Lloyd’s, London.
